WAYS TO SUPPORT OUR
SELF-ADVOCATES
At Tribble Center, we provide a range of services to support adults with disabilities and special needs. Our 24-hour support ensures that our Self-Advocates receive the support they need around the clock. We also offer day activities, career preparation, and various outing and activity opportunities to enhance their quality of life.If you would like to support our mission, there are many ways to get involved. You can volunteer your time, make a donation, or participate in our fundraising events. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of our Self-Advocates.
What is a
Self-Advocate?
Here at Tribble Center, we have a group called the RESPECT GROUP. The folks in this group represent all individuals that we support here at Tribble Center. This group was formed BY THEM, so that they can have a say and input on all things Tribble Center.
Over the years, these individuals, have been called things such as, clients or consumers. The RESPECT GROUP decided and voted that they wanted to be called something else. Something with more meaning about who they are. They voted on the name Self-Advocate so that they could always have it known that they advocate for themselves and each other! You will see the term Self-Advocate use often throughout the website!
