The Tribble Center - Board of Directors

Our Board of Directors is made up of volunteer members that all reside in Oconee County. The members are elected to serve on the Board by the SC Governor. The members that serve on the Board of Directors serve to assist in making policy changes, financial decisions, upcoming projects and ensure that Tribble Center will always strive to support the advocates that receive the services provided by Tribble Center.

The vision of the Board shall be that persons with disabilities and their families will experience a higher quality of life.  The mission of the Board shall be to provide innovative services that promote abilities and a quality of life that would otherwise be out of reach.  The Board carries out this vision and mission by hiring an Executive Director to employ and supervise a staff to implement the same.

    The Oconee Board of Disabilities and Special Needs meet the last Wednesday of each month (with the exception of July and December) at 9:30 am in the Administration Building at the Tribble Center or on GoTo Meetings. Meetings are open to the general public. Please call if you need the information!

The Tribble Center Special Needs Foundation

The Tribble Center Special Needs Foundation originated August 2013.  The purpose of the Foundation is to support people residing in Oconee County with physical and developmental disabilities and/or head and spinal cord injuries, so as to provide an improved quality of life for them.  The Foundation shall support the community-based services provided to people with disabilities and special needs, inform the public of issues relevant to services and service needs, develop fund raising activities to support community disabilities and special needs services, sponsor Federal, State and local grants or opportunities for funding, and accept monetary and charitable donations as approved by the Board of Directors.

The Foundation provides a tax exempt opportunity for persons to help support the important programs of The Tribble Center. Join with the businesses and individuals who care deeply about special needs people in our community and desire for them to have every opportunity to live a well-rounded, useful and fulfilling life as they contribute to the overall high quality and compassionate life we all enjoy in Oconee County.

To make a contribution to The Foundation, you can write a check, use PayPal (you do not have to join PayPal in order to donate with a credit card), or send/drop off a cash contribution at 116 South Cove Road, Seneca SC 29672-6711.

Please consider donating cars, stocks, bonds or memorial contributions. As you do your estate planning, consider making The Foundation part of your plan. And check with the Human Resources Department to see if your employer matches non-profit donations.
